(Maybe this means more toxic yuri fanfic coming my way 👀) (Not as much as after the ’24 TDFF, but a girl can’t have everything)

never change, cicco
29 May 2026 02:11 pmPeak cinema, peak Giro, peak Ciccone, peak everything is the queen stage through the Dolomites, where Derek Gee sniped the sprint points off Rubio, so Rubio sniped the KOM points off Ciccone, so an enraged Ciccone threw a tantrum at Rubio and stormed off down the descent, shredding the breakaway with so much force that he used up all his energy and Sepp Kuss sniped the stage win. 🤣🤣🤣
D. Gee: mate where are you going.. i need to compete for the podium..
Cicco: I DONT CARE DEREK I NEED TO AVENGE THE CRIMES COMMITTED AGAINST ME
r/peloton sauce
Lidl-Trek consolation prize is the maglia azzurra and combativity award (lol) for Guilio, losing the stage twice over (coming second and third to Kuss), and knocking Gee off the GC podium. That’s my boi 💅
Other highlights not limited to:
- the Dolomites porn
- my other best boi Eulálio absolutely beasting it after his crash and staying in the maglia bianco
- Mama Kuss kissing on a bewildered Jonas and stealing the spotlight + bouquets at the finish 💐💐💐
guilio, take my energy
17 May 2026 02:56 pmI opened the Giro race thread in r/peloton this morning, and the first thing I saw was “Ciccone getting chippy. This is peak Giro”
Even better: Ciccone getting chippy in the break. If I can’t get Mads aura farming for the maglia ciclamino, then the very least Lidl Trek owes me is a chippy Ciccone working off his bitterness over losing the maglia rosa after one abysmal day.
(The duality of rooting for Ciccone in the break can’t be summed up better than these back to back comments: “I just love Ciccone so goddamn much, the guy is just pure aura” vs. “I like Ciccone, but he does seem like a bit of a knobhead sometimes”)
*crickets*
7 May 2026 03:08 pmIn my long hiatus from blogging, I didn’t dare hope that dreamwidth would remain unsullied by ads and algorithms. But here it is, like a beacon in the desolate night 😭
Dipping my toes back in tumblr has been mixed emotions at best, especially as the algorithm repeatedly serves up a frustrating amount of what I don’t want to see. And it’s so… visible, and social.
I miss the privacy of a blog of one’s own, without likes or feeds or noise, just the occasional fellow traveler who might say hello now and then. That there’s still a place for that seems too good to be true.
So here I am, and will toil away in the ghost town with relief, embracing privacy through obscurity.
